Martin Jefferis
My name is Martin Jefferis and I'm originally from Telford but moved to Wednesfield in 2005. After I left school I played football for Shrewsbury Town for three years. I then became a civil servant in 1996. In the civil service I have had a number of roles over years. I have been in my current role as a Senior Project Risk Manager for over five years. I have two children, my eldest attended Our Lady & St Chad's and is now studying Photography at college and my youngest is about to start their GCSEs. I'm not religious myself, however, my wife and children are Catholics and it is an important part of family life. I have been a parent governor since 2018. Being a governor is really important to me because it means I can give something back to the community and hopefully make a positive impact, no matter how large or small.
